Douglas L. Munter formed Midlands Mechanical on April 10, 1980. The mission of Midlands Mechanical was to offer skilled craftsmen and top construction management throughout the Midwest. The company has grown from the original group to over 100 people, all of which are spread throughout the Midwest serving local communities.

Our customer base is fairly small and is made up of clients that demand that we meet schedules on time and expect quality work. The majority of our work is repeat business, which reflects that our customers are pleased with the work performed by our company. Midlands does approximately 30 million dollars worth of work per year with over 60% of the volume by our own forces. We offer our clients real expertise in the area of HVAC, Plumbing and Process Piping.
