NSK

NSK Clarinda manufactures precision bearing components in a large-scale, high-output facility. Midlands Mechanical has been a long-time on-site contractor, supporting the plant for decades with mechanical upgrades, shutdown work, and process improvements across nearly every part of the facility.

Our work includes utility changes, equipment tie-ins, high-pressure piping, nitrogen lines, filter systems, and structural work. Projects range from emergency service to phased capital improvements — often performed under tight production constraints or holiday shutdowns.

Fiserv Data Center

Midlands Mechanical installed a nitrogen generation system at the Fiserv Data Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The system was designed to support the operation of large-scale dampers critical to facility ventilation and assisting processor cooling when required.

The job involved installing a membrane-style nitrogen generator, refrigerated dryer, compressed air system, and full copper piping to distribute nitrogen and air to control equipment. The system allows for improved response and reliability in the damper actuation network.

Nebraska Machinery

Midlands Mechanical completed full mechanical and plumbing piping installation for the new 45,300 square foot Nebraska Machinery facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. This project was completed in 135 business days under an aggressive schedule and required full coordination across trades and fabrication teams. The job included 15,720 feet of sanitary, domestic, hydronic, and process piping, all prefabricated and installed by our crew. 

Becton Dickinson (BD West)
